MACAO, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) concluded here Tuesday with a contract value surpassing 300 million U.S. dollars.

    Some 148 commerce and trade delegations from 47 countries and regions participated in the four-day event, the organizers disclosed Tuesday.

    The fair, sponsored by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (MTIPI), was a venue for over 30 seminars, conferences and product promotion programs.

    It featured 336 exhibition booths and pre-arranged 380 " business matchings" for the participants to engage in business talks.

    This year's MIF version has enhanced services for the small and medium-sized enterprises by "actively optimizing" buyers and business matching activities.

    The annual event has become an important trade platform for enterprises from the Chinese mainland, European and the Portuguese-speaking countries.
