On the jubilant occasion celebrating the 31st anniversary of the China-Philippines diplomatic relations and the 5th China-Philippines Friendship Day, the Second China Machinery & Electronic Products Exhibition will be held in Manila by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery & Electronic Products. On behalf of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, I am glad to extend my warm felicitations to the organizer and participants of this grand event.

In recent years, bilateral trade between China and the Philippines achieved rapid progress, making great contribution to consolidation of our good-neighborly friendship. As the major player in China-Philippines trade, Machinery and electronic products accounts for 70% of our bilateral trade volume and 60% of Chinese exports to the Philippines. This unprecedented exhibition is a great chance for the Chinese enterprises to showcase their products and for the Philippine businesses to know better about Chinese Products. In the meantime, the event also provides enterprises of the two countries with a good platform for exchanges and exploration of business opportunities, thus contributing to further expansion of bilateral trade.
