We are willing to work with the Philippine side to push for the constant growth of the friendly cooperation between the two sides.

Arroyo said that the Philippine-Chinese relationship is in a golden stage. Remarkable achievements have been made with the cooperation in trade, investment, mining, tourism, and other areas. Important headway has been made with the North Luzon Railway Project contracted by China. There is a big increase of Chinese tourists to the Philippines. The Chinese side highly appreciates the Cambodian government for its adherence to the one-China policy, its opposition to Taiwan's independence and its firm support to the reunification of the Chinese people.

Wen said, "in order to deepen the neighborly cooperation of friendship between China and Cambodia, I hope that both sides maintain high-level exchange of visits, implement the cooperation projects, expand trade scales, promote the cooperation in the development of energy, mineral, oil and gas resources, and strengthen the friendly exchanges between the youths, provinces and cities. The Chinese side will continue to help Cambodia train various professionals."

The Chinese side has, over a long period of time, provided Cambodia with valuable assistance in the infrastructure construction of Cambodia such as the construction of roads and irrigation works. The infrastructure projects contracted by Chinese companies are moving ahead, which the Cambodian side spoke highly of. I hope that both sides strengthen the cooperation in the area of investment and infrastructure construction such as power plants and bridges."
