Ambassador Huang conveyed his deep sympathy to the evacuees of Batangas Province. He said, China and the Philippines are good neighbors and good friends with kinship and cultural bond. The Embassy is deeply worried about the Filipinos who have been unfortunately affected and stands ready to provide necessary disaster relief assistance. We are confident that under the strong leadership of the Philippines and Batangas government, those Filipino victims will restore the normal life at an earliest date.

Governor Mandanas expressed heartfelt thanks to the Embassy, and said China is the first country kindly donating to Batangas Province and Ambassador Huang is the first Ambassador visiting Batangas evacuees. The immediate assistance provided by the Embassy once again demonstrates the reliable and valuable friendship between China and the Philippines.

In the afternoon of the same day, Ambassador Huang donated 4000 masks to Secretary Mark Villar, Department of Public Works and Highway at the Embassy.
